Frequently Asked Questions
Do you keep your photos on file for very long?
Yes, you can order and reorder photos from any event we have attended; we keep all our images on file indefinitely.
Can you alter backgrounds?
This can be done, it is however time consuming and therefore we must charge accordingly. We are happy to add text to your photos or do simple changes at no extra charge.
Can I use photos I have bought from you for advertising?
Yes. Please ensure a photo credit is given to 'All Creatures Photography'. If we can help in any way, please let us know.
What does 'Low Res' mean?
Low Resolution refers to the resolution of the image and means that it is suitable for web use and emailing - basically computer use. You can have your images emailed to you or a magazine for $20 per image.
If purchasing your images on CD you will receive a copyright notice which outlines the usage guidelines for your images. You do NOT legally own them and therefore are not able to do with them what you want. Legally we still OWN the images. The purchase of images with full copyright release is subject to the payment of licensing fees based on how the images will be used. © All photographs purchased as prints or on CD remain copyright to Nicole Hewitt/ All Creatures Photography.
How long will my order take?
Usually 2 weeks once payment is received and processed. We use a professional printing lab and photos are posted out in individual presentation folders.
Do you charge to attend an event?
No; Conditions of our attendance are that as the official photographer for your event All Creatures Photography is promoted as such in the event program/website etc... If approached by other photographers we would ask that they are advised that you have a photographer for the event.
Do you only do horse events?
No, we are available for family portraits, pet portrait sessions, farm visits, and weddings.
Do you offer gift vouchers?
Yes, and in any amount you'd like.
Do you have a studio?
Yes, a portable one, but mostly we like to shoot in the great outdoors. We are happy to recommend a setting or we can come to you.
If I am at a show, how can I have photos taken on the day?
We will be circulating through the rings on the day, and we will also be available outside of the arenas for photos. Please feel free to approach us at anytime.
How can I see my photos from an event?
It depends on the type of the event - we will either upload images onto our website for viewing and ordering, or we will send out proofs with an order form to the competitors by mail usually within the next 3 working days.
